Comm., Sept. of a problem at the Recreation Centre with commuters parking on the 13/78 re Prkng. at east side between the Recreation Centre and Kingsway and recommending Rec Centre. that the six-hour parking restriction which is in eZfect for a large part of the Recreation Centre be extended to include the 46 additional spaces witiin this eastern parking lot. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That as recommended by the Leisure Acitivities Committee, September 13th, 1978 the six-hour parking restriction which is in effect for a large part of the Recreation Centre be extended to include the 46 additional spaces within the east parking lot between the Recreation Centre and Kingsway. Carried. From the Library Committee, September 18th, 1978 recommending that Library Comm.,,. Sept. 18/78 Council endorse the use of the weighted vote as set out in the letter re 'Weighted Vote! from the Fraser Valley Regional Library, July 7th, 1978. Moved ‘by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That as recommended by the Library Committee, September 18th, 1978 Council endorse the use of the "weighted vote" as set out in the letter from the Fraser Valley Regional Library, July 7th, 1978; PROVIDED that the said "weighted vote" method is used for all financial matters in addition to Budget matters.
