April 28th, 1975 From the City Clerk, April 23rd, 1975, advising that during the course of a subdivision of property just East of Cedar Drive and South of Patricia Avenue a Right-of-Way was inadvertently registered in the wrong location and in order to register the same in the correct location, it is necessary that the incorrectly placed Right-of-Way be cancelled. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the Quit Claim Deed dated for reference April llth, 1975 wherein the City releases its claim to a Right-of-Way dated July 23rd, 1974 and registered in the New Westminster Land Registry Office under No. K99405 referring to Lots 259 and 260 of the North-east Quarter Section 6, Township 40, Plan 46810, New Westminster District be approved; AND THAT His Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the said Quit Claim Deed on behalf of the City and affix the Corporate Seal thereto. NEW BUSINESS: Alderman Mabbett referred to the proposed Curfew By-law and suggested that Mayor Campbell, as Chief Magistrate of the City, request the R.C.M.P. to set up regulations on how they are going to handle situations as they arise in a fair and proper manner. Mayor Campbell advised he had spoken to Inspector Young who stated that the R.C.M.P. would do its best to enforce the By-law upon its adoption by the Council. /5.
