That as recommended in a report from the Planning & Zoning Committee,
July 7th, 1977, an application to conatruct a Neighbourhood Public House
at 1502-08 Columbia Avenue, legally described as Lot A and Lot B, D.L.
232, Plan 20589, and Lot 487, D.L. 232, Plan 39766, be placed before a

Neighbourhood Public Information Meeting. Carried.
Alderman Mabbett voted against the resolution.

Mr. W.R. Rudy, the applicant, was in attendance and spoke in support

of the project and the design thereof, placed on display for public
viewing, was then explained by the architect. Alderman Mabbett advised

he was not in favour of the project as it is totally within a residential

Committee, July 7th, 1977, the following applications for Community Care
facility licensing be approved:

1. 1794/6 Western Drive - Personal Care for five ambulatory guests;

2. 1960 Fraser Avenue ~- Family Day Care for five children.

AND THAT the Simon. Fraser Health Unit be advised the above~stated
locations meet the requirements of the City’s Zoning regulations for the
use intended thereat. Carried.

Underpass, originally estimated to cost $8,420.00, and advising that the

paving would be more appropriate at an additional cost of $2,000.00.
