I), Every application for an initial Licence for a Resident Business shall be accompanied by fire safety inspection form, completed by a Fire Inspector. A satisfactory inspection for fire Safety is required as a condition of the issuance of any Licence to carry on a business that: will occupy real property in the City. Every application for an initial Licence for a Resident Business shall also be accompanied written confirmation that the proposed business complies with the zoning regulations of the City, endorsed by the Director of Planning or the Director’s delegate; and written confirmation that the premises for the proposed business comply with the building regulations of the City, endorsed by the Director of Building Permits and Inspections or the Director's delegate. It is the responsibility of the applicant for a Licence, not the responsibility of the Licence Inspector, to obtain the inspection and confirmations required by Sections 10 and 11. Where an applicant applies for more than one Licence, the particulars of each Licence applied for shali be included on a separate application form. The application form shali be delivered to the Licence Inspector and shall be accompanied by the fee prescribed in Schedule "A" to this bylaw, the inspection form required by Section {0 and the confirmations required by Section 11. LICENCE PERIODS Subject to Sections 16 and 17, Licences shall be granted as annual licences for a period commencing each January 1 and expiring each December 31. The period for a Licence in respect of a theatre including a drive-in theatre, amusement hall. concert hall, music hall, rink, amusernent park or other piace of amusement, entertainment or exhibition, may be six months, three months or one day, and the period requested shall be by written application of the applicant. The period for a Licence with respect to a circus, concert, horse show, dog or pony show, exhibition or other itinerant show or entertainment, when held elsewhere than in a licenced theatre or other licenced place, shall be one day. LICENCE FORMS. Every Licence shall be in the form set out in Schedule "C" to this bylaw and shall be made out in duplicate. One copy shall be delivered to the Licencee and the Licence Inspector . shall retain the other copy.
