Freeman City Clerk Changed Zoning Amendment By-law in Process Council will recall that some time ago it converted several Zoning Amendment By-laws in process to terms of the City's new Zoning By-law. We are now advised that the Marpole Avenue commercial development of J.K. Cooper Limited will he proceeding and, accordingly, it is necessary for the Zoning Amendment By-law for that project to be similarly converted. This can be done by passage of the following resolution: "That the third reading of By-law No. 1532 as given on May 16th, 1977 be rescinded; That the said By~law be amended by striking out the words "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. $18" wherever they appear and substituting the words "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1978, No. 1628"; That the said By-law be further amended by strikitig out the words "RS-2 (One Family Suburban Residential)" wherever they appear and substituting the words "RS-2 (Single Family Residential)"; That the said By-law be further amended by striking out the words "C-4 (Town Sub-Centre Commercial)" wherever they appear and substituting the words "C-4 (Town Centre Commercial)"; AND THAT the said By-law No. 1532, as amended, be read a third time." The developer advises that he should be making all his deposits and fulfilling other City requirements in the near future and when this is done we will place the By-law before Council for finel reading.
