Dear Sir:

The Fifth Annual Fraser River Raft Race from Mission to
Haney is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 21, 1978.

As in previous years, Maple Ridge Municipal Council will
prove to he one of the more superior entries, however, we
are sure that there are many other fine raft crews lurking
‘in Municipal Council Chambers throughout the Lower Mainland.
To help us determine the truth of this statement, we are
challenging all other local Municipalities to enter the
race this year. ae

If you remain undaunted by the widespread tales of our legen-
Gary prowess in this event and are willing to take part in
mirthful competition, then do not hesitate to accept our
challenge. We are confident, as always, that the level of
competition will be intense and that victory will be ours.
Included herein is an entry form along with a list of rules
and suggestions. For further information, please contact the
Raft Race Association directly or the undersigned at the
Maple Ridge Municipal Hall at 463-6201.
