I CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES That the minutes of the meeting of the Parks & Recreation Committee held on March 2nd, 1988 be taken as read and adoIlted. Item No,1 Barr Pr ooertv Park Pr~oosal Randall Sharp outlined the park for committee. Committee indicated proposal that they wanted more time to think about the park requirements that their initial reaction was that more park and land was required. Derek Ashf'ord indi.sated that they were holding a public information meeting on Wednesday, March 23rd, 1988. The Parks & Recreation Direotor indicated she would like to review the proposal and come that back with recommendations to the Parks & Reoreation Committee. — *'lso Recommendation: That the verbal presentation be received. I CARRIED Item No. 2 B.C. Snort & Fitness Council for the B.C. Chamoionshios for the Phvsically Disabled: Disabled The Comicittee reviewed the attached letter.
