May 12th, 1977, the purchase of a Case 580 C Backhoe at the quoted price

of $23,625.60 tendered by Milos Equipment Ltd., be approved.

It was noted in the report that tenders will be called shortly for
the supply of a 4 in 1 bucket for the Case 580 C Backhoe unit mentioned
in the above-stated resolution at an additional cost of approximately
$2,000.00. |

From the City Administrator, May 12th, 1977, advising of a request
received from Conse-C Enterprises Ltd., the management firm for Strata
Plan N.W. 573 - Riverside Manor, to not be required to move the garbage
container from its present location at the East end of the puilding to
the far end of the visitor parking lot in accord with the Land Use Contract,
due to the hardship and inconvenience that would be created for the
Owners.

That as requested by the Owners of Strata Plan N.W. 573 - Riverside
Manor, the garbage container not be required to be moved from its present

location at the East end of the building. Carried.
Alderman Laking voted against the resolution.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Laking
pointed out the garbage container takes up approximately three spaces
that were allocated for parking; however, Alderman Mabbett stated he had
noticed there were very few cars using that facility.

From the City Engineer, May 12th, 1977, concerning a frontage

exemption required for a proposed subdivision of Parcel 2 (Explanatory

— Plan 13634), of Lot B of S's of Lot 4, Group 1, Township 39, Plan 5755,

New Westminster District.
