Carried. Alderman Laking voted against the resolution. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Thompson asked that the Public Works Committee bring a report to Council on the Coquitlam Avenue ~ Shaughnessy Street - Flint Street area. From the Public Works Committee, May 12th, 1978 recommending that PWComm., May 112/78 re the City budget for full signalization of the Westwood - Kingsway ' iWestwood - iKingsway — intersection in late 1978 or early 1979 and that the overhead STOP sign Traffic Sig. not be installed. The District of Cequitlam agree with this recommendation and will budget for their share of the cost.
