SUBJECT: Request for Stop Signs
(Public Works Committee Meeting July 5, 1989)

Recommendations:

1. That stop signs be instalied on Elinor Crescent at the intersection with
EFastern Drive and on McRae Crescent at the intersection with Patricia .
Avenue.

2. Yhat the City Clerk take the necessary steps to revise the Traffic
Regulations Eylaw if the ahove recommendation is approved by Council.

Background and Comments:

Pequests have been received to install stop signs on Elinor Crescent at
Eastern Drive and on McRae Crescent at Patricia Avenue. The Traffic :
Technician has determined that the stop signs are warranted and that they
would improve the safety at the noted intersections. The Committee agreed

with this conclusion.
