LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Remainder of Lot C, Block 8, District Lot 232, Plan 6314. BACKGROUND: The property in question is presently zoned RS~2 and is surrounded on three sides by RS-l. A house is existing fronting. on Pitt River Road. The requested rezoning is to permit the creation of an extra lot by subdivision (see attached sketch). The existing house is to remain on the remainder of the property after subdivision. RECOMMENDATION: The Planning and Zoning Committee recommends that: 1. The rezoning application be advanced to Public Hearing. 2. The existing Pitt River Road access be removed and alternate access from Columbia to the remainder of the property be provided. e Le v Planning Officer.
