Dear Ms. Tayior:

Further to recent correspondence, meetings, and proposals, we wish to update you
regarding our current position as it pertains to our original submission of Oct 12,1983.

1. Batting Cage

Aga ragult of tenders sent out by the City of Port Coquitlam and subsequent responses ee
recieved, we wish to inform you that PoCo Minor Baseball is prepared to purchase the batting Baie
cage as outlined on the quatation from Raybem Erectors dated November 30,1982.

Batting Cage as per plan and specification 17,623.00
G.S.T. 1233.61

Nyion Mesh for double interior 1650.00
G.S.T. | 115.50
Totai: 20,622.11

We do however, require electricity at the batting cage, and as you can appreciate, the.
above figure stretches our budget considerably.
eae in view of the money we have spent on Thompson Park over the past few years in
aed ta oo fences ete., and this expenditure, we request the City absorb the cost of installing the elecirical
supply. | am told by Bram, this would approximate $3500 :

2. Storage Container |
Since recieving your letter o? November 26,1993 the subject of a storage container has

been discussed again with PoCo AAA and we are now told that everyone is in agreement, and

we would like to proceed with the purchase of the container.
We believe you have recieved confirmation of this agreement from PuCo AAA.

3. Reefs on Dugouts . .
We find it very difficult to believe that this project would cost us $6,720 for six small roof

However, since this is the quotation and we have increazed our budget considerably for
the Batting Cage, we now will have to recind our request for this project this year.
