HOW THE AREAS WILL BE USED

SECOND FLOOR 6,600 sqeft.

Circulation of all library materials, information service, and stack areas will
be the function of the second floor.
The sécond floor will contain: _ ;
1. the stack area - 40,000 volumes - non - fiction, fiction.
2- Information and Reference area - accessible to stacks.
3. Children's service area.
4. Girculation control area - adult and children's materials together’
5. reading tables throughout stacks and in Reference area for
more serious reading and studye
6. Comfortable reading space area scattered throughout fiction stacks

Reader space for at least 50 ~ 75 people provided at peak times
( 5. & 64) .

7s Picture book accommodation for children's area and special
seating arrangements for readers ~ at least 15 ~ 30 readers
at peak times. Cushions on floore

8. Staff work area for circulation control.

9. Staff work area for Reference areae

10. Book lift installed from the first floor to the second

to a general staff work area in close proximity with
circulation area ( check in and check out)
