Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution, Alderman:
laking proposed the following amendme nt:

Seconded by Alderman Ranger:

That the foregoing resolution be amended by inserting the following

words as the end thereof : |
“AND ‘AND THAT where charges: for bookings « are contemplated, the words: “subject
to revision of rental rates" be noted on receipts for deposits made. "Carried.

“The question w was then called on the original motion of Aldermen Laking
and Ranger, as anended:

‘That the recommended rental rate policy for the Mabbett and Young Rooms
at the Port Recreation Centre as set forth in a report from the Parks and
Recveation Committee, be adopted;

AND. THAT where charges for bookings are conte enplated, the words “subject
to revision of rental rates" be aoted on recei pes for. deposits nade, Carried.

funds a roved by Council in 1972 for ‘construction of ree reation facilities.

That as recommende ad in a report from the Parks and Recreation Committee,

the preposal to construct a lacrosse box on the South-west corner of the

George Pearkes Junior Secondary School grounds on.a joint basis with the

School Board be accepted in principle,. and referred to the Traffic Comittee

for study. a oe - Carried.
