Kirk, October 12, 1989 City Administrator City Engineer SUBJECT: Crosswalk at Citadel Drive and Kensington Crescent (Public Works Committee Meeting of October 4, 1989) Recommendation: l. That a crosswalk be established on Citadel Drive at the north side o£ Kensington Crescent. 2. That the City Clerk take the necessary steps to amend the Traffic Bylaw if Recommendation 1 above is approved by Council. 3. That the estimated cost of $400 for the painting of the crosswalk = and appropriate signage be funded from the 1989 Public Works | Unallocated Capital Budget. Background and Comments: : The attached request from the School Board was investigated by staff and considered by the Public Works Traffic Sub-Committee. In consideration of the likely pedestrian route to and from Hazel Trembath School, the establishment of a crosswalk on Citadel Drive at the north side of Kensington Crescent is justified.
