Ten days to go The end of the Miss Terrace Pageant 1989 i is ‘dose at hand, but there are still ‘two events at which the Terrace public can see all eight con- testants as a group, The first event, the Miss Terrace 1989 Banquet and Speakoffs, takes place this Saturday evening at the Terrace Hotel and if you haven't yet . purchased a ticket you should do so soon — there are only 150 available and many of ‘these have already been sold. The doors for this event open at 6:30 p.m., "providing an opportunity to meet the contestants. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. and following this each contestant will give a five-minute pre- -pared speech on a subject of her choice.
