Discussion ensued on the foregoing resolution and Aldermen Wright and Laking expressed their concern about allocating funds early in the year in view of the 5% limitations imposed by the Provincial Government. The City Clerk advised receipt of a petition from the residents and Property owners of Grant Avenue and Fraser Avenue who are not in favour of having an "institutional, non~conforming type home" at 1948 Grant i 3 Avenue. Ms. Kendal stated the residents would be people from Three. the age of 19 to 40 years who require a group home environment before living on their own. Fes Mrs. M.
