Recommendation:

“The Committee recommends refusal of the application as it conflicts with the Long
Range Plans.

Item IV

Re: At the regular Council meeting held on September llth, 1972 the following
resolution was passed:

"That the suggestion of preparing a booklet in simple form to
enlighten prospective purchasers of strate title unita, and possibly other
hones, as to their rights and obligations be referred te the Planning end
Zoning Committee for consideration."

Committee Comments: The drawing up and circulation of such a booklet is beyond

: the City's scope. It was felt the program should fall under
the Regional, Provincial or Real Estate Boards responsibilities as few people
contact the City prior to purchase.

Recommendation: The Committee recommends that Council inquire if the suggestion
could be encompassed in the Liveable Region Program now under

way by the Greater Vancouver Regional District.
