Re: Fraser Valley Regional Library Headquarters Building

Council will recall that we had set aside a sum of $7,790. as the
City's share of the proposed Library Headquarters Building in Abbotsford.
This sum was carried forward from year to year as the building programme
did not get underway and the sum is set aside in a Reserve Account at the
present time.

We have now received the attached letter from the Board asking us
to approve payment of this sum to the Fraser Valley Regional Library as
they have now come to agreement with the District of Matsqui for the
construction of the new buiiding.

The members of our Library Committee have reviewed this request and
recommend that the sum of $7,790. be forwarded as requested.
