Eng., City Engineer SHAUGHNESSY STREET RECONSTRUCTION - PITT RIVER TO STAFFORD (Public Works/Traffic Committee Mecting of March 15, 1994) That Council approve the reconstruction of Shaughnessy Street from Pitt River Road to Stafford Avenue based on an allocation of $94,901 from the Road DCC Fund and $221,436 from the Tax Sale Reserve Fund. ‘That Council approved the installation of a 12" diameter watermain on Shaughnessy Street from Pitt River Road to Stafford Avenue based on an allocation of $34,047 fromthe Water DCC Fund and $128,082 from the Water Utility Capital Fund. It is proposed to reconstruct Shaughnessy Street from Pitt River Road to Stafford Avenue based on a 14 metre wide road pavement complete with concrete sidewalks, storm sewers and ornamental street lighting. Also it is proposed to install a 12" diameter watermain on Shaughnessy from Pitt River Road to Stafford. The road and watermain projects are scheduled to be constructed by the City Construction Crew. ‘In 1993, Civic Consulting Ltd. completed the engineering design for the road work and watermain. The estimated construction cost is $316,337 for the road works and $162,129 for the watermain. Funds are allocated for these project from the Development Cost Charge Funds, the Tax Sale Reserve and the Water Utility Fund as described in the attached memo from the Project Engineer dated March 9, 1994. | IRZ:cd There are sufficient funds in the Road DCC Fund, the Water DCC Fund, the Tax Sale Reserve Fund and the Water Utility Capital Fund for this purpose. ; = nr PAGE | J.
