Alderman Ranger voted against the resolution.
Prior to passage of the foresoing resolution, Alderman Ranger stated his
view that Section 2 wherein Section 6 of By-law No. 902 is repealed and substitu-
ted with regulations permitting the burning of garden and household refuse out-
side a vesidence in a residential zone twice yearly, should be deleted from the
By-law, as he would rather see people take such refuse te the City's disposal
“grounds. Aiderman Thompson pointed out that there are many people in the Commun-
ity, particularly senior citizens, who have no means by which to transport refuse

to the City's disposal grounds.
