As mentioned, public involvement is particularly important at this stage in
updating the existing regional plan. To that end, four public meetings will

be held at locations throughout the region. The meeting to be held at 8:00
pem. on Tuesday, March 25th, 1980 in the Coquitlam Municipal Hall will be of
particular interest to residents of your Municipality. We would appreciate any
publicity you might give to this meeting.

Members of the Planning Committee and planning department staff are prepared to
mect with your Council to discuss the provisions of the draft plan at any
convenient time in the next month if requested.
