RECOMMENDATION: That City Council adopt a resolution to
have amendments. prepared to the Official
Community Plan. The amendments are to
Prepare a plan for the North-East Sector of
the City, and prepare amendments to the
Industrial Section. of the Official
Community Plan to institute mandatory
Development Permits in Mary Hilt! industrial
Estate.

COMMENTS :

This memorandum has been Prepared in conjunction with the
Planning Department budget estimates for 1987. The ‘projects
contained in the recommendation constitute the tong range
ptanning work to be carried out during the coming year. It
should be noted, the Community Plan amendment for Mary Hill
Industrial Estate, is to take advantage of provisions of Bi-l}
62 Municipal Amendment Act. The North-East Sector Pitan is
being prepared in anticipation of development in that area.
