Re: Library Trustees Association Spring Conference

At the last regular meeting of Council, a resolution was passed

approving attendance of one member of Council at the Library Trustees
Association Conference. it is my understanding that it may not be possible . :

for any members of Council to attend.

IT understand that two of the members of the Friends of the Library
would like to attend, representing the City, and the Library Committee would .
like to ask for Council's authority to send two representatives. I believe : ba
they are prepared to charge the costs to the Friends of the Library Budget. :

Would Council please give consideration to this request.
