A By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Pound and Animal JAN 148 5
Regulation By-law, 1970, No. 1020".

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts ag follows:
1. Section 10 of the "City of Port Coquitlam Pound and Animal Regulation
By-law, 1970, No. 1020" is repealed and the following substituted therefor:

"10. Every application for licence shall be accompanied by a licence
fee payable as follows:

(1) During the period January Ist to September 30th, inclusive: *

(a) For each male dog or spayed female dog a fee of $5.00.

(b) For each female dog, a fee.of $20.00.

mc) For each kennel, which a person, shall be. considered to

have if he possesses four or more dogs, in lieu of the
individual fees in parts (a) and (b) above, a fee of

$50.00.

(2) During the period October lst to December 3ist, inclusive:

For each male dog or Spayed female dog a fee of $2.50.
For each female dog, a fee of $10.00,

For each kennel, which a person shall be considered to

have if he possesseg four or more dogs, in lieu of the
individual fees in parts (a) and (b) above, a fee of
$25.00." . -_
2. Section 34 of the “City of Port Coquitlam Pound and Animal Regulation

By-law, 1970, No. 1020" 4s enacted by the "City of Port Coquitlam Pound and

Animal Regulation By-law, 1970, No. 1020, Amendment By-law, 1973, No. 1267"

is repealed and the following subsituted therefor:

"34. (1) For a contravention of any of the provisions of this By-law,

an information may be laid and a Summons issued by means of a

ticket in accordance with the procedure set out in Section

T1A(2) to: (9), inclusive, of the "Summary Convictions Act*

and the provisions of that Section shall apply thereto,
The ticket shall be composed of the following:

(a) Information

(6) Summons

(c) Report of Conviction
