Fire under investigation by R.C.M.P. Arson section. $12,000 damage to an industrial plant in a spray booth area. ‘This is an automatic spray booth and the power was shut off to clean spray nozzles. Due to a malfunction of a resistor in the electric bleed off system the electric power was still on the nozzles when a workman started cleaning with a solvent. The solvent and oversprays of paint ignited. The workman was able to get out and the sprinkler extinguished the fire. No damage in other industrial call. $13,000 to a trailer home when parents lit candles in a bedroom for their children during a power outage. The children went looking under the bed for toys igniting the bed on fire. $4,500 damage to an outbuilding storing farm equipment, animals and a canoe. Possible cause of fire was a lamp used to keep young rabbits warm. , . 33 Inhalator calls: 23 home emergencies consisting of heart problems, epileptic seizures, strokes, breathing problems (flu), abdominal problems (flu), circulation problems after recent surgery, electrical shock, and falls causing cuts and broken bones. Attended a lady who had collapsed on a bus, a girl who was hit by a car, 2 motor vehicle accidents, 4 accidents in sports, a man fell from a tank truck and one overdose.
