half of the Province has. been. prospected; 200,000 square miles of. unexplored
ml Ineral bearing lands are open for prospecting.

any other Provinee in the Dominion or any Colony in the Britizh Empire.

Mineral locations are granted to discoverers for nominal fees. Absolute titles
ara obtained by. developing such properties, security of whieh is guaranteed by
crown grants.

Practically all British Columbia mineral properties on which development
work has heen done are described in one of the Annual Reports of the Minister
of Mines, : Those'considering mining investments should refer to such reports,
They are available without charge on application ta the Department of Mines,
Victoria, B.C. Reports covering each of the.six.Mineral Survey Distriets are
