. THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM ITEM V - Continued stops at one time with the exception of the stop on McAllister on the south side which will have three buses at certain brief intervals in the morning. The letter points out, however, that it is not always possible to foresee delays in the schedules which might result in deviations from the normal bus stop arrange- ments. This is for your information. ITEM VI Re: Warning Sign on Kingsway at Westwood Intersection Alderman Mabbett has requested that a dangerous inter- section warning sign be located on Kingsway east of the railroad crossing because of the poor visibility of the intersection and the curve in the street. The Committee recommends that a standard symbolic warning sign be installed as shown in the attached sketch to indicate both the curve and the intersection and that a 30 km/h speed warning tab be placed on the sign. As the sign is not a regulatory sign, the by-law does not need to he changed. ITEM VIT Re: No Parking Signs on Pitt River Road East of Tyner Alderman Mabbett has requested that parking be restricted ‘on the north side of Pitt River Road east of Tyner to provide better intersection visibility for traffic coming up Tyner. The Committee does not feel that these signs are warranted since cars rarely park on this section and since the use of Tyner as a truck route has been eliminated. Respectfully submitted, af, F.E. Peters, P. Eng. , FEP/vw City Engineer. Attached :
