This estimate is based on our current understanding of the project scope, which
includes tha follawing:

1) Design of road upgrade to Port Coquitlarn’s 14 metre arterial standard section,
complete with curbs, sidawalks (both sidas), and ornamental streat lighting;

2) Dasign of naw starm sewer systam. We assuma discharge points ara at Mary
Hill Road, Shaugnessy Straet or elsewhere within the design araa;

3)  Survay pick-up, preparation of base plans, design drawings, specifications and
tender documents (NOTE: this work will be inciuded in the overall Kingsway
packages including the Westwood to Coquitlam River Section - a separate
document will not be required);

4) No design requiremsnts for watermain cr sanitary sawers;

6) Work to be generally in accordance with Dalcan proposal dated January 18,
1993 for Kingsway Avenue between Westwood Street and Coquitlam River.

Costs for additional inspection services during construction depend on the extra
construction time required. Additional inspection and contract administration costs
would ba charged at the unit rates quoted in our proposal for the
Westwood/Caquitlam River Saction.

We would appraciate your early authorization to proceed with the design work since
we Intand to complata the survey required for the Westwood/Coquitlam River
section within tha next week. The above astimates are based on simultaneous
complation of tha Shaugnessy/Mary Hill Road section,
