(Deferred) The City Clerk advised that the owner was not present and stated the owner wanted to be present when the application was brought up at the Council meeting. Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Mabbett asked that Item #18301 regarding car allowance/mileage be investigated. From Alderman E.W. Mabbett, May 17th, 1979 advising he attended a Ald. Mabbett, May 17/79 re "Police Appreciation' supper meeting of the Coquitlam Optimist Club and Replacement of R.C.M.P. O. i/ec. stated he had been speaking to Mayor Tonn of Coquitlam regarding the retirement of Inspector Galbraith. Alderman Mabbett further advised he spoke to Mayor Campbell on the subject and Mayor Campbell. will be getting in touch with the R.C.M.P. headquarters regarding the appointment of a rew Commanding Officer for the Coquitlam Detachment.
