SUBJECT: Request for "On-Location" Filming - Paramount Pictures

Recommendation:

That Paramount Pictures Corporation (Canada) Inc. be
permitted to utilize Argue Street (south of the Bypass and east
of Mary Hill Road) for the purpose of filming a motion picture.

Backaround and Comments:

The attached letter from Paramount Pictures Corporation
provides details of this request. City Council has in the past
been supportive of these Types of requests. Should Counci|
approve this request, | would suggest that the following
conditions be imposed: |

1. That Paramount Pictures indemnify the City against all
claims, and other costs which may arise out of their
activities...

2. That the City be named as an additional party in
Paramount Pictures! Liability Insurance.

3+ That Paramount Pictures pay all costs which may be
incurred by City crews.

The Public Works Committee recommends the approval of this
request.
