Any building moved from one’ property to another within the City
shall have an assessed value of not less than 90% of the average
assessed value to all the buildings within a 600 foot tadius of

the lot or parcel upon which it is proposed to locate the building,
and the building shall be similar in architectural appearance and
in age to other buildings in the surrounding area.

This will remove the section which presently is as follows:

Res Street Names and Addressing

Victoria Drive continues to ‘plague us with number problems and
street name duplication. A further. problem arises as the District nf Coquitlam
which borders on Victoria to the north is numbered in the 3000 block and incr-
eases.as it goes east while ours is the 1400 block and decreases as it goes
east. The post office is coding this area and is having some difficulty re-
solving this problem which now has houses constructed on both sections,

Committee Comments:

It was pointed out that Victoria Drive presently has two 1400 blocks,
Additionally, the District has numbered Victoria Drive starting at Coast Meridian
in the 3300 and climbing as it goes east towards the DeBouville Slough while the
City's numbering system starts at 1400 block at Coast Meridian decreasing as it

doubtedly will create some problems with the postal department. The Committee
discussed changing the name possibly of the section of Victoria Drive running from
Victoria Drive at the north to Coast Meridian at the south but decided undue
hardship on the existing residents would result, The Committee concluded that
Victoria Drive could be changed to Victoria Drive North and Victoria Drive South
as a simple resolution and further that special sign postings at the intersections

be necessary in order to give clear direction. It was further suggested that a
discussion with the District of Coquitlam in regards to this subject should be

persued,

Recommendation:

Committee recommends changing Victoria Drive between Victoria Drive
on the east and Coast Meridian on the west to Victoria Drive North.
