RE: 1992 TERRY FOX TANDEM BICYCLE RELAY

From August 29 to September 1, 1992, B.C. Corrections Staff will relay ride a
tandem bicycle across B.C. to complete the fest leg of the trans Canada 1992 Terry
Fox Tandem Bicycle Relay. This effort to raise funds for cancer research by
Corrections Departments nationwide is the first ever trans Canada event to be ©
sanctioned by the Terry Fox Foundation. oO

This ride will consist of a procession of two support vehicles and one tandem
bicycle and will be proceeding from highway 7 to the Terry Fax Library at »
approximately 8 pm August 29, 1992 for digmitary greetings and media coverage,
leaving the library at approximately 8:30 pm to continue along highway 7 on it’s
journey from Victoria, B.C. to St. John’s, Newfoundland. |

Please advise if there are any necessary requirements for the above routing and
access to the Terry Fox Memorial.
