It’s all about prices.
The price is wrong.
The Liberals and their Anti-Inflation Board cut

down wages, but they sort of forgot about prices.

The Conservatives would like to forget about
them, too. :

For most of us, the working Canadians, we can't
forget how much everything has gone up.

With inflation at 9% and wages going up only.
6.47%, your pay cheque buys 2.6% less this year.

What can workers do?

New Democrats say the government should in-
vestigate price hikes, single out companies that
are overcharging us and roll back unjustified
increases. Ed Broadbent proposed a Fair Prices
Commission to do just that. When it came to a
vote, all the Conservatives and all the Liberals .
voted against the idea. They must think in-
flation’s just great. We disagree.

Clearly we need the votes in Parliament to get
something done. But first we need your votes —
for New Democrats. |
