A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port FEB 17 1986

Coquitlam to dispose of portions of Road shown dedicated MAR 1
in District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New 7 1986
Westminster District, in exchange for sufficient land to

relocate the said roads.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is desirous of cancel ling
portions of Road shown dedicated in District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New
westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British

Columbia;
AND WHEREAS the Registered Owners of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw

have agreed to convey the said tand to the City in exchange for the lands comprising
the portions of Road shown dedicated [n District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New

Westminster District to be cancel led;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British
Columbia, 1979, provides that the Councii may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a
highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving,

widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipa! Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam,
in open meeting assembled, enacts as foil lows:
