~2e Practical solution as it would be very unsightly and complicate access into the park and into the property at 1140 Yarmouth Street. The installation of a smal} pump station to serve 1120 Yarmouth with a force main to the gravity sewer on Harbour Street. The installation of a pump station in this area would not be desirable from the City's point of view as a pump station becomes a perpetual maintenance problem for the City.e . Aside from the cast of running it, there is +the constant threat of pump failure and overflow and the cost of periodic call= outs fo install a portable generator during a power failure. , The developer has requested that a pump station be al lowed in order to avoid the complications of dealing with the Fisheries Department for crossing of Baker Creek and of dealing with Shell Canada, The Committee, however, feels that these complications can be overcome and would prefer the alternative nos 1 as being the most advantageous to the City in the future.
