June 22nd, 1981. A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on June 22nd, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking, Aldermen M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, Mabbett, A.K. Muldoon, L.M. Traboulay and M.R. Wright in attendance. Also in attendance were Acting-Chief Administrative Officer R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., Assistant City Engineer T. Chong, Deputy Fire Chief J.N. Boileau, Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, Planning Consultant A. Phillips, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer and Mrs. D.L. Vyse. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Minutes: : June 22nd, 1981.°: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on June 15th, 1981 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. DELEGATIONS: His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking introduced Mrs. Vera Harvey and her Mrs. V. Harvey, Mr. T. Harvey, son, Mr. Ted Harvey, who then made a presentation to Council regarding re Moving a House ‘rom moving a house from 3384 Coast Meridian Road to property at 645 Laurier 3384 Cost Meridian id. to Avenue. Alderman Keryluk gave some background of the proposed move and 645 Laurier Ave.: the condition of the house. Alderman Mabbett expressed concern regarding the present Building Moving By~law and suggested the By~law be amended to omit the agricultural area from the By-law. Alderman Traboulay asked Mr. Harvey regarding the proposed improvements to the house once it was moved and Mr. Harvey advised he would add a sundeck and put on cedar siding to upgrade the exterior to the surrounding houses. - Alderman Muldoon stated she was opposed to omitting the agricultural area from the By-law. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That Mr. Ted Harvey be given permission to move a house from 3384 Coast Meridian Read to 645 Laurier Avenue. Carried.
