September 13th, 1976 At the request of Alderman Keryluk, Mayor Campbeli then agreed to obtain, if possible, further clarification on the 4~3 vote earlier this evening on a negative motion that resulted in the application of Pacific Petroleums Ltd. for a licence to operate a self-serve gas station at 1523 Prairie Avenue being allowed to proceed. On invitation of Mayor Campbell, Mr. Bill Campbcil of the Port Coquitlam & District Hunting & Fishing Club, then reported on a meeting of the Coquitlam River Committee that he had attended recently along with Alderman Laking and the City Engineer, and advised that the preliminary report originally scheduled for completion on October 6th, 1976, has now been postponed until November. Alderman Traboulay advised that former Alderman P.A. Meyer is’ presently compiling a report on the Coquitlam River and Mayor Campbell stated he would be pleased to have him make a presentation to Council thereon when the same is completed.
