We have inplemented en exteasive “Walk Through* progres of liquor
outiets, with a view tn policing the managenent of these establishnents.
Licensees have = heavy Fesponsibility to ensurs that all Parts of the
Liquor Control asd Licensing Act are adhered to by beth their sraft

and their patrons, and the Principal object of cur Frogran of "Walk
Throughs* is to ensure that canagenert of the outlets are following

the regulations. Cenerally ve have found managerent and staff of the
outlets to be very co-operative. ke have also received strong an3
imzediate support frea the Liquor Ceatrol and Licensing Soor! where
preblems and/or violations have beea found. There is no qsestien that
Stcict enforcement within liquer cutlets kas a positive effect ca crine
ané anti-socisl behaviour in the comunity.
