Rez: Coquitlam River Pedestrian Bridge

At the regular Council Meeting held October 7th, 1974 the Public Works Committee
was asked to investigate the suggestion of the Wrong Side of the Tracks Association
that a pedestrian bridge be constructed across the Coquitlam River south of the
Lougheed Highway. The Committee wishes to advise Council that the approximate

cost of a pedestrian bridge across the Coquitlam River would be $30,000. to
$40,000,

The attached letter dated November 25th, 1974 from the Director of Transit is
submitted for information.

ITEM III

Re: Future Works Yard Site

During the year, the Committee has reviewed previous work done to establish
a new works yard site as well as considered new aspects of the problem. The
work done to date will be submitted to the 1975 Public Works Committee for

further consideration.
