Having al- fy ways enjoyed ‘Poor Jud is Dead’’, I revelled in the humour of the 4A presentation. It is one of the most difficult portrayals in all of Rogers and Hamer- steins’ musicals and was well done, Ellic Higginson made a superb Laurey; each of her songs showed her trainiag and showmanship. As the juvenile leads, Will and Adc Annie, Amy Kevernik and Lucas North were on fire throughout the performance. The band under the direction of Geoff Parr was first rate in every respect. : ; It was 3 long evening of hard work which was forthcoming without flagging or miscuc, Anyone who attended Oklahoma could see the lime and cffort that had been put in by both the students and the teachers. Performances such as this do not happen without a desire to excel and excel they did. When one considers the cast did three performances in two days, their Saturday evening performance was all the more remarkable.
