SUBJECT: Development Variance Permit 5/87

RECOMMENDATION:

That as recommended by the Director of Community
Planning in his memorandum of April 21st, 1987 a
Development Variance Permit be approved to relax Zoning
Bylaw 2240, Section 601, Subsection (1) Subdivision Design
and Layout, permitting relaxation of the minimum width of
RS-1 lots backing onto Guest Street from 15 metres to 12
metres. |

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

Pursuant to instructions issued by the Council! at its
meeting of April 27th, 1987 the owners and residents of
property surrounding the subject property have been advised
: that Council are considering issuance of this Develooment °
; Variance Permit at its meeting of May Jith, 1987.
: Accordingly, at this time written or verbal submissions
should be considered by the Council and a decision reached as
to whether or not the Development Variance Permit should be
issued. _
