Donations to committees do not qualify for tax credits.

Any person (individual, company, NGO) can spend up to.$5000 on the referendum without
registering.

If they intend to spend more than $5000 they must register. A committee can register
at any time dusting the referendum period.

Any person can donate to a committee except for:

© foreign non-residents;

©  cofporations not doing business in Canada;
© unions not bargaining in Canada;

o = foreign governments or their agents.

There is n@limit.on the dollar amount of contribution.

Contributions can be made up to February 26, 1993,
The names of all donors who give more than $250 will be made public.

Cheques should be made payable to THE CANADA COMMITTEE or the (Province Name)

Canada Committee.
No. advertising is allowed on Polling Day or the day before.
Goods and services can be donated but are subject to the $250 disclosure rules.
