Recommendation: See attached letter dated April 26th, 1972 from A.K. Mutter. The Traffic Committee recommenes to the Municipal Council that the request from the Safety Council be approved and that the costs be charged to Transportation Services, Item II Re: R.C.M.P. Recommendation: The Traffic Committee recommends to the Municipal Council that Inspector Young (who will be in charge of the new detachment at the new Justice Building) be invited by the Mayor to discuss with Council in Committee the proposed operation of the new detachment. A suggested date is Tuesday, May 23th, 1972. Public Works Item I Re: Sewage Treatment Plant Site Reservation. Recommendation: See attached correspondence from the City Clerk. The Public Works Committee recommends to the Municipal Council that the necessary procedures be instituted to have the reservation removed. In the unlikely event that the City find it necessary to construct and operate a Sewage Treatment Plant, the particular site reserved will be unsatisfactory because of the close proximity to a recent subdivision development. Item IT Re: Walkway Fances Recommendation. See attached letter dated May Nth, 1972, from Mr. 6 Mrs. Reeves ‘and Mr. € Mrs. Novak. The Chairman of the Public Works Com- mittee and the City Engineer have discussed this problem and while they are cognizant of the problem it is felt that because of the large number of existing Walkways and the fact that more are planned, it is necessary that adjacent property owners be responsible for any required fences or hedges along walkways,
