instructions over this unit in the course of fighting five.

In the course cf budget discussions the sum of $8,000.06 was included for
this purchase and the Fire Chief has now received quotations for the purchase
in the amount of $8,692.00. An alternative method of acquisition is by lease
to purchase, however, the total cost of this option over a five year period
would be $12,600.00. The Fire Chief has recommended and has requested
authority for the outright purchase of 24 pagers in the amount of $8,692.00.
This would provide coverage for all paid men and volunteers on the Fire

Department.
