That two members of Council attend the 1980 Conference of the
Federation of Canadian Municipalities to be held in Halifax at the Hotel
Nova Scotian from June 8th to llth, 1980.

Mayor Laking advised he will be actending the Conference.

Prior to passage of the foregoing reselution Alderman Keryluk
stated in his opinlon Council should look at the cost of belonging to
the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and send a delegation of three
to the conference with a view to deciding whether the City should belong.

the Fire Chief to have the Annual Spring Burning Period this year between
