Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That two members of Council attend the 1980 Conference of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities to be held in Halifax at the Hotel Nova Scotian from June 8th to llth, 1980. Carriad. Mayor Laking advised he will be actending the Conference. Prior to passage of the foregoing reselution Alderman Keryluk stated in his opinlon Council should look at the cost of belonging to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and send a delegation of three to the conference with a view to deciding whether the City should belong. Traboulay re Publicity the City and other areas and suggested the Distrier of Coquitlam be on Amalgamation advised the City wants the boundaries changed according to the 1975 "Ranger Plan" to divide Coquitlam and distribute Le to New Westminster, Port Coquitlam and Port Moady. Alderman Keryluk advised he has recetved complaints regarding the traffie Ald. Keryluk light at Shaughnessy Streec and McAllister Avenue which only flashes on re teaftle Light - Shaugh.
