Store relocates

Cones, which was
previously located on
Lazelle Ave., has now
moved to its new location
in the Skeena Mall,

According to owner
Mary Bond, a lot of her
customers had asked her
why she wasn’t located in
the mall. Finally the de-
mand was enough to
create the need for a
movement of the store.
“There is more traffic in
the mall, and it is a nice
friendly environment’’,
Bond explained. She was
very happy with the
welcome that she received
as a new Skeena Mall mer-
chant, and was grateful to
all the other merchants for
their ‘‘opening day’’ sup-
port. ‘‘Many people in the
northwest come to Terrace
because of the Skeena
Mall,’’ Bond commented
‘‘and that is why I am
proud to be a new mer-
chant here.”’

evening of Nov. 11 has for

celebrate the anniversary
of the Birth of Baha-u-
llah, the Prophet-founder
of the Baha’i Faith, who
was born in Iran in 1817.

This year, 1986 has been
designated as the Interna-
tional Year of Peace by
the United Nations. As a
contribution to this the
elected international body
of the Baha’i Faith, the
Universal House of
Justice, prepared a docu-
ment, entitled ‘‘The Pro-
mise of World Peace’’.
This has now been
presented to national
leaders worldwide and is
currently being presented
to elected officials at the
local level. The document
was recently presented to

the city council of Ter-
race. This statement em-
phatically points out that
world peace is inevitable

but world unity must first

be achieved.
