Dear Sir: Res Proposed’ Day Care Centre - Southside -
Baptish Church ~ 2211 Pitt River Road.

With reference to the above noted subject we now enclose herewith,
in duplicate, reports from our Building Inspector and Fire Prevention Of ficer
and you will note that a reduced xerox copy of a plan of the facility is att~
ached to the Fire Prevention Officer's report. ; .

With respect to the approval by our Council of this facility, we }
would refer you to our letter of February 15th, 1973 addressed to Mrs. J.J.
Cassettari and a photocopy of thia letter ts enclosed for your ready reference.
We would draw your attention to the last paragraph thereof wherein tha zoning i ok
of the property is mentioned and we would advise that the necessary Zoning
Amendment By-law has been prepared, the required Public Hearing has been held,
and the By-law received third reading by our Council on August 20th, 1973.
The rezoning is subject to the requirement that the three separate lots pre-
sently existing as the site of the Southside Baptist Church be coneolidated
into ene lot and that parking be restricted to the rear of the property with .
access and egresa by way of a driveway on the northern extremity of the property. ce

Subject to our Council being satisfied with the progress of these , >
two matters, we expect that the Zoning Amendment By-law will receive reconsid~
erasion and final passage at the Council meeting to be held on Tuesday, September ro
