THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BY-LAW NO. 1616

A By-law to prohibit Public Dance Halls.
The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port

Coquitlam in open meeting assembled enacts as follows:

1. No person shall operate as a business any Public Dance Halls

in the City of Port Coquitlam.

2. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this By~law,
or why causes, suffers, permits or allows any violation of this
By-law shall be guilty of an offence against this By~law, and shall
be liable upon summary conviction therefore to a fine or penalty

not exceeding $500.00, or in the alternative to imprisonment for a

term not exceeding 30 days. .

3. _ This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "Public Dance Hall

Prohibition By-law, 1978, No. 1616".
