RECOMMENDATIONS:

l, Request that GVRD extend their timeline for compliance with the provincial/federal
health guidelines until a publicly acceptable method of water treatment is determined,

i. eH : Request that GVRD Watersheds (including a safe buffer zone) be protected from all
wy harmful activities known to impact water quality (including logging and road building),

Request that GVRD reject the use of chloramine as a method of water treatment.
Request that the public be informed of, involved in and provided with a long range,
"true cost" analysis of re-chiorination, filtration and biological filtration using ozonation

Request that plans to filter the water be implemented foumediately in the GVWD's
Drinking Water Quality Improvement Plan.
